Gardenrose Bed and Breakfast

                                              Covid Precautions at Gardenrose

We shall restrict contact between ourselves and our guests by reducing the areas where guests can go and simplifying breakfast. For stays of more than 1 night it maybe prudent to restrict our access to the guests room, so cleaning will be curtailed unless absolutely necessary. If we enter the room it would require a complete clean of everything whilst avoiding guest luggage and items.

Our aim is to keep both us and our guests healthy and reduce the chance of transmission. The guest lounge will not be available. We shall only offer 1 room at a time. This will be our Glasgow Room. There will be no bathrobes or slippers. We shall provide sanitiser for guest use. We shall have a minimum of 1 day gap between guests staying.

We request that guests wear face masks in the common areas.

We have considered how we shall operate when in this environment and we have decided the following. We shall not offer the guest lounge and we shall only offer a cold breakfast selection, with tea or coffee, which we shall have in place before guests come down for breakfast. As we do not have any system for taking cards for payment, we shall take UK Cheque, BACS or PAYM. We would like to avoid cash but realise this may not be possible occasionally.

The house was built in 1911 for one of the sons of the owner of a local shoe factory. The architect of the house was Thomas A.
